E. Dekker stipend for Lando Janssen

Lando Janssen has obtained an individual scholarship (€3000) from the Dutch Heart Foundation as part of the E. Dekker-program for his research-internship in Dallas, which he'll be doing in April, 2012. In this 4 month-period he will investigate the function of systemic right ventricle in patients with transposition of the great arteries. The scholarship will allow him to fully concentrate on performing research, which gives him the possibility of further expanding his knowledge on cardiovascular diseases. He will be doing this at one of world's most renowned Research Institutes under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Levine. Lando is very excited about being granted this opportunity, as he is eager to explore this subject.
