Gerwen Lammers obtained his M.Sc. degree in Biology
at the University of Utrecht and worked as a Ph.D. student at the
Department of Biochemistry in the Nijmegen Centre for Molecular
Life Sciences (NCMLS). Using this molecular biological background,
his main goal as a post-doc in the Integrative Physiology group is
to study the effects of physical inactivity and exercise on the
cellular and molecular level and elucidate the mechanisms behind
these effects.
