Ilja van Lierop is a 4th year Master student of Biomedical
Sciences. She will perform her internship at the Department of
Physiology under supervision of Tim Schreuder. During this
internship, she will investigate the effects of a 4-month walking
training (for the Nijmegen 4-Day marches) on the structural changes
of the blood vessels in patients with Diabetes Mellitus type 2.
