Nathalie Benda is a PhD-student. After successfully
completing her master in Medicine she decided to deepen her
scientific interest by studying Biomedical Sciences. In february
2011 she obtained her master in Clinical Human Movement Sciences.
During her major internship at the Integrative Physiology she has
participated in the RU PhD competition and has won a RU PhD grant
for young research talent. Together with Joost Seeger, she works on
the project 'train hard is smart for the heart'. In this project
she will investigate the influence of different types of exercise
training on physical fitness, vascular and cardiac function and
gene expression in heart failure patients.
