Ralph Scholten is a resident Gynecology and Obstetrics and combines this with a PhD-project in the group 'integrative physiology' of the department Physiology (AGIKO). In his research project he studies the effects of exercise training in women known with reproductive failure (mainly preeclampsia). The study is focused on improvement of vascular endothelial function and plasma volume.
