Bachelor & Master Internship Nijmegen
Biomedical Sciences
Master Human Pathobiology
During my bachelor Biomedical Sciences I performed my first
internship at the department of Physiology within the Osmoregulation group. During this
internship I learnt a great number of techniques; such as RNA
extraction, qPCR, Western Blotting and performing animal
experiments. I was amazed by the amount of knowledge I gained
during this internship, not only regarding experimental techniques
but also with respect to background information and in-depth
knowledge concerning my research topic. The department is very
professional and well organized. Everybody works very hard, and you
will gain a lot of knowledge and get a great addition to your CV.
In addition, this professional aspect is accompanied by very
friendly, international colleagues and several nice events, which
are organized by the department. I was so enthusiastic about my
bachelor internship that I decided to do my Master internship at
the department of Physiology as well. Now I am working on a
different topic and learning many more different techniques
including bacterial- and cell culture. This department is great for
you if you are looking for a professional research environment,
don't mind hard work, are eager to learn and like to work
independently.
