Anke finished her M.Sc. in Medical Biology at the Radboud University Nijmegen in 2009. Her interest in research developed during her Master-internships at the department of Gastroenterology and the department of Physiology. After graduating, she decided to combine these two area's of interest and is now working on a PhD project in which she focuses on gastrointestinal physiology.
