Annelies is a Ph.D. student in the group "Ion Transport" working on the effect of different drugs and the magnesium diet on magnesium homeostasis. She studied Biomedical Sciences at the University of Amsterdam and performed her internship at the Dutch Cancer Institute under the supervision of Arnoud Sonnenberg.
